Wilma B. Porter's Obituary
Newark: Wilma B. Porter, 90 of Newark died Monday, September 26, 2011 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born March 26, 1921 in Coshocton to Arthur and Edith Lemon.
Mrs. Porter had been a school teacher for many years with Tri-Valley Local Schools. She was a member of Family of Faith Community Church in Newark.
Survivors include her sons, David (Virginia) Porter of Birmingham, AL, Robert (Charlotte) Porter, Jr. of Newark; a daughter, Suzanne (Dean) Krause of Farmington, NM; a sister Faith Keyer of Zanesville; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Porter, Sr. in 1989.
Friends may call Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main St., Newark.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 at Family of Faith Community Church, 975 Mt. Vernon Rd., Newark with Pastor Curtis Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.
