To David,
Your mother and dad are two of the reasons I went into teaching. We are all better people because of your parents.
Be well, my friend.
To David, Bob, Suzanne, sister Faith and famlies, Wilma was my English teacher over 50 years ago and became a life long friend. She made me part of her family and I will miss her so much. She was proud of her family and loved the Lord and worked for the Lord more than anyone I know. What a teacher! God be with you all. Love and prayers, Sheryl
So sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful lady and teacher. I was in her class at Tri- valley, she was great. I loved having her as my teacher. She will be greatly missed. Your family are in our prayers. Palma Hindel Miller and husband, Paul .
David, Bob and Suzanne and Families,
Your Mother was an excellent teacher, a great neighbor and a brave and fun person who, along with her husband, braved taking the TVHS students to Europe.
You are in our thoughts as you go through this difficult time.
John and Peggy Kelbley
David,
So sorry to learn of your mother's passing away. She was a lovely person! Helen Helbling Short
Mrs . Porter was a wonderful teacher and just as wonderful a person. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with the family
Yet, we have lost another great Tri-Valley teacher in such a short period of time. Wilma Porter was one of those teachers who challenged you to do that which you did not believe you were capable of doing. She did a great job with American literature and was able to bring it to life for her students. I will carry fond memories of time spent in her class.
Klayton Hooper, Ottoville, Ohio
You will be greatly missed, Aunt Wilma, but we know you're praising God as we speak! Much love~ Bob, Beth and Brylie Woodward
I had Mrs. Porter for a teacher at Tri Valley High School. She was a wonderful person and a strong Christian. Take comfort knowing she is in the presence of our Lord.
