Walter F. Roberts' Obituary
A funeral service for Walter F. Roberts, 75 of Newark will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Hansen officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.
Mr. Roberts died Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born April 14, 1937 in Jonesville, VA to the late Wiley and Kitty (Woliver) Roberts.
He operated Roberts Motor Service for the past 22 years. He also enjoyed target shooting.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ginny Roberts, whom he married on September 16, 1958; two sons, Rick (Kathy) Roberts of Pleasant Hill, Tom (Kelly) Roberts of Newark; sister, Augusta Edwards of Noblesville, Indiana; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the NEWARK CHAPEL of VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main St., Newark.
