There will never be another Uncle like my Uncle Walt. Love you Aunt Ginny
Ginny, Tommy, and Ricky, so sorry to hear of Walt's passing. There is not a week that goes by that I do not think of all the great times we had working together at Plaza Union 76. Walt was a great mentor to me when I was in high school and college. The lessons learned from him are with me forever. And so are the fun times and laughs we shared. I can never forget the characters we met and had to deal with. Walt was truly a great man, whose faith and values guided his decisions and the manner in which he lived his life. He helped and influenced a lot of people. May God bless his soul in Heaven.
I am so saddened to hear of Walt's passing. He worked for my father for many, many years. They loved and respected each other. When I was little I was at the station all the time and Walt was always there. I thought he was part of our family. When I grew up and had a little girl of my own, she felt the same way. There is never a story about the station that my brother and I discuss that doesn't include Walt. He was just so genuine. Not to mention the fact that he always kept my cars running smoothly! I'm sure that he and Daddy are now trading stories in heaven. Our family will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
My prayers and sympathy are with you Ginny and the family at this time Walt was a very special friend he will always be remembered in our hearts

Jenny, Tom,& Rick: There is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Walt was like that for me. He was like a father,a brother,& a best friend to me. I regret not visiting him more often. He was like family to me. GOD bless and comfort you all in this time. I will miss him terribly.
Jerry Tillett.

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
