Michael Skeen
My name is Michael Skeen, and I had the pleasure of serving with Terry in Company D, 237th Support Battalion, 73rd Infantry Brigade, of the Ohio Army National Guard in Mount Vernon, Ohio, as did my late father, SFC Jerry Skeen, who was both Terry and my Platoon Sergeant. Terry operated the fuel truck for our unit whenever we were engaged in field exercises and traveling to and from our annual training at Camp Grayling or Fort Campbell, and was responsible for keeping our unit moving. Terry always seemed to be everywhere at once, and never seemed to stop moving! I know my dad thought very highly of him, and valued Terry's work ethic and dependability. I have fond memories of Terry and even now, more than 40 years later, I can hear his voice and see his ever-present smile. Rest easy, soldier.
