Sorry for your loss.
I just opened the newark advocate and saw the obit for your dear mother. My mother [Elizabeth Daugherty] was a dear friend of her's and also a member of the Eastern Star in Brownsville. I remember Oma all the years of growing up and just recently wonder if she was still living. My heartfelt sympathy and caring to all of you. She did indeed always have a warm smile.
God's Blessings and Love.
Marcella [Daugherty] Barr
I was fortunate to have Oma for a dear neighbor for a few years, and as a friend forever. I'll always remember the fun we had at the Glenford pancake breakfast, and her delicious banana bread. Deepest sympathy to William and family.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Edwin, Donald, Eva Mae, William and their families. Aunt Oma will be missed by all who knew her. She was a very special lady and always had a smile for everyone. Sorry we won't be at the funeral but like Oma we are in Eastern Star and have a commitment to our Florida Grand Chapter this week. We will be with you in prayer and thought on Wed.
I knew Oma from Dr. Mannino's office. She was definitely part of my growing up years. I still have the beautiful candy dish that she gave me as a wedding gift in 1979. She was such a sweet lady and always had a smile. My deepest sympathy to her family.
