I work at McDonalds and Jerry would come in and order his coffee and always made me smile. He will be missed by all of us.He came in last winter and told me he was sick but he was still the same old Jerry. I'm glad he came in to see me and say goodbye.

Amy and family,
I was saddened to read of Jerry"s passing and my heart goes out to you. I have so many wonderful memories of Jerry. I have often told the story of his knocking on our door very early one Christmas morning and startling me---I think it was still dark. I had a nightgown on and no bathrobe, and when I answered the door and saw who it was, I said, "It"s ok...it's just "good old Jerry Bowden." He always joked that I crushed his ego. One thing you can say of him is that he truly was a "one-of-a-kind," a unique individual and one of the good guys. Your family has been blessed in so many ways, and I hope all those wonderful memories you share will comfort you in the days ahead.

Dear Amy and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am thankful for the wonderful memories of Jerry and my Dad, Pete Carle. I hold dear the stories of their golfing and fishing adventures. Everytime I bake a Red Velvet Cake...I think of him. It is Jerry's recipe I use. Jerry will be missed, but carried in our hearts.
