Carol,It is the anniversary of your loss to us. I see that I wrote you last year. We miss you and we never told you that we would. I was in Newark last year and reminded Vanessa where you lived. If I were to celebrate your life today, you would be stunned what I would do. I would bake some spam and coat it with ketchup and mustard. You made that for me once and I thought it was the greatest thing. If I remember, it might have had some brown sugar in the coating as well. You are missed.Jeff
It will be the 10th anniversary of Carol's death this year. How could that be?You realize after a person is gone that you have not told them how important they were to you. Carol was an older cousin. As a kid she was always kind and taught me all types of interesting things. I learned about teen magazines because of Carol. When we went to her house, she would make lunch and tell me how easy these things were.Her family was important to us. Her mother was my mother's oldest sister. Uncle Ralph was an auctioneer and we went to his auctions from time to time. It was a fascinating thing to do.She was too young to go, however during the past decade, we have lost both of my parents and my sister. She now has more company.Carol we miss you.

I have looked at the photo in this memorial book and I want to reach out and tell Carol things that I have not said before.
"It has been seven years since you have left us. I remember our times together as if they were yesterday. You taught me so much as a young boy. You had the hip magazines - I did not know what teen magazines were all about. You taught me how to cook some interesting things - spam..... But most importantly, you were a great cousin and you were kind and thoughtful. You left us far too soon."
