A funeral service to celebrate the life of Arlene E. Goodman, 95 of Newark will be held Friday August 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan K. Grove officiating. Burial will be in Read Obituary

Mike & I are thinking of you during this sad time. Arlene was a wonderful lady. We were proud to know her and call her our friend.
I will miss you, you were like a mother to me. Lots of good memories at your home. Enjoyed the trips to Allentown and staying in the row house and eating all the Dutch cooking. Glad I was able to find out from you about your D-Day service during WW2. At last you and your Guardian Angel can meet. Someday will be together again.
Love ya Mrs Goodman, you were always great to my sister and I growing up and we were very lucky to call you our neighbor. Save some grape leaves for my grandparents up there! :)

Dave and family, I was so sorry to hear of you mothers passing. She was such a nice lady. I have such fond memories of her from Cox Church. Now she can join her husband in a much better place. You are all in my prayers.

How proud you must be to know she served during WWII, dedicated service member and mother. Again so sorry for your your loss Dave Im sure she was a strong part of your family, and I know you cared a great deal for her.
