William Eugene Smith's Obituary
William Eugene Smith, 62, of Crooksville, Ohio died Thursday evening, June 14, 2018 at his home.
Born November 23, 1955 in Zanesville, Ohio he was the son of the late Edwin and Mildred (Stischok) Smith and was a 1974 graduate of Miller High School. Mr. Smith was a retired truck driver with R. & D. Hilltop Lumber Company of New Lexington, Ohio and was a member of the House of Grace Church in South Zanesville. He was a life member of the NRA, the Single Action Shooter’s Society and the Ohio Gun Collectors Association. His greatest enjoyment was his family.
Surviving is his loving wife, Kellie M. (Gray) Smith, whom he married June 13, 2018; two sons, T. J. (Mariah) Ross and Jakob (Kate) Ross, both of New Lexington; one daughter, Chelsey (Brandon) Euman of Roseville, Ohio; five special granddaughters, Brooklyn, Raegan, Mya, Millie and Brinlee and his special “little buddy”, his grandson, Joey. Also surviving is his son in-law, David Euman and his very special friends, Kevin, Terry, Tom and Jerry.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father in-law, Sam Hinkle.
Calling hours will be 4pm to 8pm Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Dunlap officiating. Burial will be in Perryton Cemetery, Perryton, Ohio.
