William P. Humphrey's Obituary
William P. Humphrey, 88, of Newark, Ohio died Monday evening, April 1, 2013 at Kindred Health Care Center in Newark.
Born December 25, 1924 in Newark he was a son of the late Sewell Humphrey and Gladys (Holler) Humphrey Kempfer. He was a graduate of Newark High School and he served in the United States Navy during World War II. Mr. Humphrey retired in 1980 from the Newark City Fire Department.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Lou (Lucas) Humphrey whom he married June 27, 1953.
There will be no calling hours.
Graveside funeral services will be 1:30pm Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Frazeysburg Cemetery with the Rev. William Wayt officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio or to the Perryton United Methodist Church.
