William "Bill" Hedges, Sr.'s Obituary
William, "Bill" Hedges, 82, of Frazeysburg, died Saturday morning, October 5, 2024 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville.
Born April 27, 1942, he was a son of the late George and Kathleen (Miracle) Hedges and a 1962 graduate of Jefferson High School. Bill retired from Kenwood Lumber Company and more recently worked for Johnny Erb's Sawmill and Excavating Unlimited. He was a hard worker and an excellent provider for his family. In Bill's younger years he enjoyed traveling to Canada to hunt bear and fish. More recently he enjoyed deer hunting and "supervising" in his son's garage.
Surviving is his loving wife, Sharon (Pride) Hedges whom he married September 11, 1964; two children, Bill Hedges, Jr. of Frazeysburg and Tiki (Bill) DiBlasio of Newark; five grandchildren, Bobby Spellman, Donny Spellman, Kali (John) McQuistion, Darby Hedges, and Jayce DiBlasio; great grandchildren, Audra Randall and Kaiden Wiles; brother Harold L. Hedges and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hedges; granddaughter, Amy Hedges and great granddaughter, Vaida Randall.
In accordance with Bill's wishes there will be no public services.
