Wesley D. Denman's Obituary
Wesley D. Denman, 66, of Nashport, died Friday afternoon, July 29, 2022 at Genesis Hospital-Emergency Room.
Born July 7, 1956 in Newark, Ohio, a son of the late H. Orman and B. Jeannine Martin Denman and a 1974 graduate of River View High School. Wesley enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, playing baseball, shooting pool, playing guitar and throwing horseshoes. Wesley retired from R&R Pipeline after 9years and worked for 32 years welding for Ohio Oil. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Debbie Stokes Denman, whom he married, April 7, 1979; a daughter, Mandy (Ron) Rhoades Jr. of Blue Rock; a son, Shane (Megan) Denman of Zanesville; six grandchildren, Riley, Grant, Easton, Wynonna, Waylon and Leonna; four siblings, Ralph Denman, Lucia Lauvray, Wendy (Dave) Prouty and Kyle (Teresa) Denman and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Steven E. Lauvray and father and mother in-law, Kenneth “Jack” and Wilma Stokes Sr.
Friends and family may call Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 11:00am till the time of service at 1:00pm at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street, with Minister Sam Dunn officiating.
Wesley will be laid to rest at the Frazeysburg Cemetery.
