to the family;mr.wayne levering was an extrodinary man who changed my life at 15years of age when he went to mr,freeman at newark high school and demanded that i be entered into lcjvs auto mechanics program.he taught me how to drive and passed on to me his passion for anything mechanical expecially internal combustion engines.many times he had me come to his power mechanics class and speak to his students about attending the vocational school and my time at northwestern auto and desiel tech. in lima ohio.he would always end by telling the students to follow pashions and to further there educations in no mater what there interests where and if you always gave your best effort happiness and money would follow.the last time i seen him was at an evening driver improvement school in the early 90,s i crashed a 89 turbo daytona that i raced at mid-ohio and columbus motor speedway on pleasant chapel rd near my home.full role cage no lights or glass in the car on racing firestones no tags and no insurance.it was a test drive run that could have and should have killed me,the helet and 5 piont harness saved my life.i took the car by trailer the next night to show it to him at his farm in frazi-burg.after a long talk about life choices and priorities in life i never raced again.i still have that old racecar and its still in the barn wrecked and ill never forget him.ray farson lcjvs auto mechanics graduate 1981.northwestern graduate 1984
