Virginia M. Snyder's Obituary
A funeral service for Virginia M. Snyder, 96 of Newark will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018
with Pastor David Warner officiating. Burial will be in Kirkersville Cemetery.
Mrs. Snyder died January 27, 2018 at Newark Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 24, 1921 in Newark to the late William and Alice “May” (Warman) Vogel. She attended Newark High School and was a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Bill Snyder of Newark; daughters, Sue (David) Neudecker of Newark and Karen Smith of Somerset; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren; a brother James “Bud” (Mary Nan) Vogel of Heath; a sister, Mary Sheats of Johnstown.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Milon N. Snyder, whom she married May 24, 1946 and who died, July 4, 1999; a grandson, Mikeal Ashcraft; and a sister, June Ford.
Friends and family may call 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
