Vicky L. McKee's Obituary
A memorial service for Vicky L. McKee, 73 of Hebron will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad Street, Columbus with Pastor Craig A. Burdick officiating. Visitation will be observed one hour prior to services.
Vicky passed away unexpectedly at Licking Memorial Hospital on December 24, 2023. She was born March 19, 1950 in Delaware, OH to Marshall B. and Ella L. (Stults) Akison.
She was a graduate of Reynoldsburg High School. She was employed by the Columbus Metro Parks. She enjoyed crafts. She donated crocheted items to St. Vincent's and Arlington Care Center. She liked completing word searches and puzzles. She was an avid fan of OSU sports and kept current on news and weather.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Amber) McKee of Heath; eight grandchildren, Kris, Carisin, Shanna, Dylin, Raiden, Mikalah, Kahlen, Brooke (Trent Boley); two great-grandchildren, Colin, Brayden; brother, Jeffrey Akison of Reynoldsburg; sister, Mary Lou (Ralph) Stamm of Dayton; niece & nephew, Jamie and Andy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin C. McKee.
