Ursula Milton's Obituary
A homegoing service celebrating the life of Ursula A. Milton, 73 of Newark will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Payton officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Milton passed to glory early Monday morning, April 20, 2026 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. She was born March 1, 1953 in Zanesville, OH to the late Alvin L. and Lois E. (Green) Hill.
Survivors include her companion of 25 years, Roy Gordon; children, Joe Milton (Danielle Good), Joshua Miller (Dena) and Desmond Gordon (Diana); grandchildren, Journi, Zoey, Rian, Olivia, Korie, Joseph, Kellie, Catiera, Keionna, Rosalie, Desmond and Ashante; a great granddaughter, Bella Reece; sisters, Joan Coleman, Carolyn Payton (Leonard), Martha Gentry (Phillip); a brother, Mark Hill; and special friends, John and Pat Brown, Anthony Matthews and Vel Matthews.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Milton was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Hill.
Friends and family may call two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. at the funeral home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
