Timothy W. Rector's Obituary
A funeral service for Timothy W. Rector, 57 of Newark will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Pennington officiating.
Mr. Rector passed to eternal life October 17, 2017 at his home. He was born July 6, 1960 in Newark to the late Robert A. and Carol J. (Russell) Rector. He was a 1978 graduate of Newark High School and worked for over 20 years at Meijer in Newark. Tim enjoyed working with his hands. He liked listening to music, playing cards and BINGO and above all, spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughter, Shannon; grandchildren, Ashley, Journey, and Keishaun, all of Newark; sisters, Tawney (Tom) Meyers of Heath, Kathy Roberts of Newark; brothers, Allen Rector and Mark Rector, both of Newark; his partner, Brent Slone; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Lenetta Rector.
Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main St., Newark.
