Thomas "Tom" Frew Tucker's Obituary
Thomas "Tom" Frew Tucker, 85, of Frazeysburg, died Tuesday night, August 26, 2025, at Altercare Newark North in Newark, Ohio.
Born June 3, 1940 in New Philadelphia, Ohio, he was a son of the late Robert and Emma (Frew) Tucker and a 1958 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. Tom proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp and was a member of Wakatomika Post 6193, VFW. He later obtained his certified public accountant (CPA) certificate from the state of Ohio and opened his own business helping others in his community. Tom was a long-time member and past deacon of Meadow View Church of Christ and a devoted family man.
Surviving is his wife, Lois C. (Boykin) Tucker whom he married May 5, 1984; six children, Rob (Jeanie) Tucker of Tippecanoe, GA, Joe (Karen) Tucker and Mike (Rachel) Tucker, both of Richmond, VA, Renee Untied of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Robert (Kim) Shepherd of Zanesville, OH and "Boo" Beulah Marie (Devin) Reed; a sister, Connie Sandberg of Aurora, OH; fifteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends and family may call Friday, August 29, 2025 from 1pm to 3pm at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
A funeral service will take place 3:00PM, Friday, August 29, 2025 at the funeral home with Minister Sam Dunn officiating.
