Thelma A. Woods' Obituary
Thelma Ann Strohacker-Crawmer-Evans-Woods, 94, of Newark, Ohio died Friday morning, January 6, 2023 at The Laurels of Heath.
Born April 10, 1928 in Zanesville, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Blanche (Lapp) Strohacker and a 1946 graduate of Nashport High School. She was Christian by faith and worked in manufacturing at Anchor Hocking. Thelma enjoyed playing Euchre, gardening, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Surviving are her three sons, Ralph Crawmer of Heath, Bill (Karen) Crawmer of Heath and Jeff (Donna) Crawmer of Newark; a daughter, Margaret (Jeff) Shepler of Nashport; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Crawmer, who died December 1961; a daughter, Marlene Edwards; four brothers, Paul, Al, Delbert and Buck Strohacker; a sister, Dorothy Livingston and two grandchildren.
Friends and family may call 6:00pm-8:00pm, Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street, Frazeysburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, January 11, 2023 with Pastor Sam Dunn officiating.
Thelma will be laid to rest next to her first husband, Donald, at Hanover Cemetery.
