Terry L. Norton's Obituary
A private funeral service for Terry Lee Norton, 73 of Newark will be Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home.
Mr. Norton passed away December 1, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born December 20, 1946 in Frazeysburg, OH to the late James Leroy and Vera Hope (Inman) Norton. A Christian by faith, Mr. Norton was a devoted family man. He cherished his family and friends above all. In years past he enjoyed hunting, fishing and more recently he enjoyed playing the pennies alongside his wife, Linda.
Survivors include his wife of over 50 years, Linda Sue (Gentile) Norton; children, Troy Norton, Tammy (Robert) James, Tracy (Xavier) Ramirez, all of Newark; grandchildren, Jessica, Jaylene, Jason, Stephanie, Cassandra, Alexis and Joseph; great grandchildren, Beau, Domenic, Lovina, Maxyne, Haylee and Jacob; a brother, David (Debbie) Norton; sisters, Alice Evans, Francis Middleton, Geri Smith, Diane McNulty, Vera Mae Pletcher, Trena (Greg) Brown and Linda (John) Mount.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Norton was preceded in death by brothers, Jim Norton, William Norton and Jack Norton; a sister, Betty Samson; and a great grandchild, Nova.
