Terry D Hollingshead's Obituary
Terry D. Hollingshead, age 60, passed away on September 19, 2015 at the Polidori House in Lake Havasu City, Arizona with his sister and brother present. He was born December 10, 1954 in Newark, Ohio to Hiram “Bing” and Evelyn (Dement) Hollingshead, Jr.
Terry moved to Mohave Valley, Arizona 10 years ago after residing in Florida for nine years. He was a Nationwide Insurance Agent in Ohio and a Rural Letter Carrier for USPS in Florida. While living in Arizona, Terry worked at the Avi Casino in Laughlin, Nevada.
Terry graduated in 1973 from Licking Valley High School. His love of the outdoors and sunshine led him to Port St. Lucie, Florida and later to Mohave Valley, Arizona. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Danny.
Terry is survived by his brother, Jerry D. Hollingshead; sister, Marsha (Jerry) Hurt; nieces, Amber (Josh) Pasternak and Ashley (Adam Buxton) Hurt; two grand nieces, Lillian and Violet and three grand nephews, Wesley, Joseph, and Alexander.
A memorial service will be held Saturday October 17, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME 1850 West Main Street, Newark with Pastor Ben Shaeffer officiating. Visitation will be observed from 10 a.m. to service time.
Donations may be made in Terry’s name to Hospice of Havasu, 365 S. Lake Havasu Avenue, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 www.hospicehavasu.org. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
