Sheila Carol Samples' Obituary
A memorial service for Sheila C. Samples, 53 of Newark will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 5, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Heath, 525 S. 30th Street, Heath with Pastor Noel Dear officiating. Private burial will take place in New England Cemetery in Stewart, Ohio at a later date.
Sheila died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born in San Bernardino, CA on November 20, 1962 to Bryce L. and Joanne F. (Chambers) Samples of Granville.
Sheila was a member of the First Baptist Church of Heath. She was a 1981 graduate of Granville High School, received a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky and Master’s Degree from Ohio University in 1987. She worked as an audiologist for many years. She currently was employed by Certified Oil in Granville. She enjoyed gardening, painting and all types of crafts. She was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Denver Broncos.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her sons, Jeremiah (Calen) Samples of Beaumont, TX, Seth Parker, Corben Parker of Newark; sister, Crystal Samples of Granville; brothers, Russ (Darla) Samples of Waterford, OH, Brett “Randy” Samples of Boca Raton, FL; several nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church of Heath, 525 S. 30th St. Heath, OH 43056.
