Sandy K. Geiger's Obituary
A funeral service for Sandy K. Geiger, 68 of Newark will be held Friday, February 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Geiger died Monday evening February 13, 2012 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born November 15, 1943 in Newark to the late Walter and Lena (Morrison) Estep.
She was retired from Wal-Mart with over ten years of service. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was a fan of Jeff Gordon on the NASCAR Circuit. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Kim (Jason) Carson of Newark; grandchildren, Laikyn Hrinko, Caden Carson; sister, Linda (Noel) Rucker of Newark; brothers, Cline (Brenda) Estep of Newark, Opie (Nancy) Huntsman of Sebring, Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Nita Baumgartner and brother, Terry Huntsman.
Calling hours will be observed Thursday evening, February 16, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 1850 West Main Street.
