Ruth A. Fies' Obituary
A celebration of the life of Ruth Ann Fies, 75 of Newark will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 732 Hebron Road, Heath, OH with Pastor Chris Adams officiating.
Ms. Fies died Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Altercare of Newark – North. She was born August 23, 1947 in Albion, PA. A daughter of the late Robert C. and Ruth M. (Slesser) Fies. She had worked at Rockwell International and retired from Denison University where she worked as a secretary in Food Service.
Survivors include her daughter, Tracy (Chuck) Davis of Newark; grandchildren, Brandon Llewellyn, Bradley Davis, Bryson Davis, Courtney Evans and Nathan Maddox; great grandchildren, Emery, Sophia, Addison, Maverick and Sawyer; brothers, Mark Fies, David Fies and Paul Fies; sisters, Karen Smith, Cathy Garlick and Sue Fies; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Ms. Fies was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
