Ronald E. Larason's Obituary
Ronald E. Larason, 83 of Alexandria passed away after a brief illness, Sunday, April 26, 2026 at his home. He was born April 23, 1943 in Mount Vernon to the late Thomas Edwin and Alma Elizabeth (Priest) Larason.
A 1961 graduate of Johnstown-Monroe High School, Mr. Larason was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Owens-Corning and Burton Metals.
Ronald was an avid reader enjoying anything he could learn on Revolutionary Battles and American History to current day events happening around the world. He enjoyed watching sports, horseracing and traveling with his good friends. He grew up attending Concord Liberty Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Duane (Karen) Larason; a sister, Beverly Stockberger (Greg Henry); aunt, Marie (Franklin) Keller; friends, Ron Weiss, Chuck Frye, Wynn Davis and Bob Baker and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by aunts, Inez Jenkins, Eunice Billman, Helen Halblaub and Mildred Banks; and a great niece, Brianna Larason.
A celebration of life will take place at 11a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Concord Liberty Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Griffin officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date.
Friends and family may call from 10-11a.m. prior to the service at the church, 7705 Concord Road, Johnstown, OH.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Memorial contributions be made in Ronald’s name to Luminary Hospice, 2400 Corporate Exchange Dr., Suite 110, Columbus, OH 43231.
