Robin E. Cross, Jr.'s Obituary
A private funeral service for Robin E. Cross, Jr. 67 of Hebron will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Dunn officiating. Visitation will be observed from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home,1850 West Main Street, Newark.
Mr. Cross passed away on April 6, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 17, 1954 in Moundsville, WV to Robin E. Cross, Sr. and Wilma (Davis) Cross.
Mr. Cross was retired from Walker Manufacturing. He was a graduate of Northridge High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He enjoyed attending events at National Trails Raceway. He was a strong supporter at his granddaughter’s softball games.
He is survived by his son, Robin E. Cross, III; granddaughter, Brooklyn Cross; brother; three sisters; extended family of six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn (Schooler) Cross.
The family requests memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
