Robert B. "Bob" Talbert's Obituary
Robert B. “Bob” Talbert, 87 of Fort Myers, FL passed away Saturday November 12, 2022 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, OH.
Robert was born June 1, 1935 in Columbia, TN to the late Harold and Mildred L. (Cole) Talbert. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn June (Odell) Talbert in October 2016; son, Jon Talbert in November 2021.
Mr. Talbert retired from Sears & Roebuck Company as the store manager in Tiffin, OH with 40 years of service in several locations. He received a Business Management degree from Ball State University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. A number of years he was the Heritage Cove Tennis Captain.
Survivors include his daughters, Jill (Clayton) Hetrick of Mount Gilead, Robin (Matthew) Wagner of Newark, Dawn (Todd) Boehm of Sunbury; eight grandchildren, Malea Hetrick of University Heights, Alex (Megan) Hetrick of New Stanton, PA, Audrey (Tony) Genter of Westerville, Gwendolyn (Chad) Workman of Auburn, IN, Thomas (Loretta) Wagner of Bucyrus, Tori Talbert of Goodlettsville, TN, Erika (Jacob) Trott of Sunbury, Erin Boehm of Sunbury; five great-grandchildren, Suma and Anya Hetrick, Ellie Hetrick; Sofia and Weston Wagner.
The family requests memorial contributions to Christ’s Church at Tiffin, 2586 W. US 224, Tiffin, OH 44883.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
