Robert "Bob" N. Bay's Obituary
Robert N. "Bob" Bay, 60, of Newark, Ohio died Friday afternoon, June 14, 2024 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Bay was involved in an auto/bicycle accident earlier in the week in Newark.
Born January 30, 1964 in Newark, he was a son of the late Donald D. and Elsie Woodruff Bay. Bob enjoyed collecting many things, including coins, stamps and bicycles. He enjoyed woodworking, riding unicycles and helping other people in need.
Surviving is one son, Brad (Cassandra) Bay of Utica; a daughter, Elizabeth; one brother, Donald Bay of Nashport; five sisters, Karen Evans of Lapel, Indiana, Donna Willis of Newark, Joyce Potts of Mt. Perry, Kitty Weaver of Nashport and Betty Jane Bay of West Lafayette, Ohio. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Bay and a sister, Judy Brennen.
There will be no calling hours and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Bob will be laid to rest in Irville Cemetery in Nashport.
