Robert E. Armentrout's Obituary
Robert E. Armentrout, 87 of Newark passed away Friday, May 1, 2026 at Altercare of Newark - North. He was born October 22, 1938 in Newark to the late Orville and Annabelle (Simpson) Armentrout.
A graduate of Newark High School, Mr. Armentrout retired from Kaiser Aluminum where he worked as a Machinist. In retirement Mr. Armentrout worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart.
Surviving family members are Darrell & Kim Justice; Nick & Sarah Wilhoit, Olivia & Gianny, Grace, Holden, Gavin, Tanner, Brian & Amanda Justice, Bryce, Addison, Autumn. Rick & Jody Eskins; Clint & Adrianne Eskins, Kylen, Grant, Ethan. Eric & Maggie Eskins, Troy, Haylie, Lacey, Ken & Heather Reavley, Matthew, Andrew. Wendy Armentrout. Bradley & Lily Armentrout; Tiffany Armentrout, Michael & Jessica Rivas, Penelope, Pia, Phoebe. Robert S Armentrout; Sydney & Parker Williams, Colin Armentrout & fiancé, Savannah; plus he & Mira's dog Zoey.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ann Armentrout, May 26, 2007. He also had a very special friend Mira who also preceded him in death April 13, 2026.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2026 at Family of Faith Community Church, 975 Mt. Vernon Road, Newark with Pastor Curtis Martin officiating.
Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
