Richard "Rick" Arnett's Obituary
A memorial service for Richard W. “Rick” Arnett, 53 of Newark will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Miller and Pastor Charlie Mason officiating.
Mr. Arnett passed unexpectedly May 19, 2021 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born February 29, 1968 in Newark to the late Donald Arnett and Shelia (Provance) Sheppard.
A graduate of Newark High School, Rick had worked as a car salesman most recently at John Hinderer Chrysler. Rick enjoyed weight lifting and fitness. He also enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his mother, Shelia (Chuck) Sheppard of Heath; long-time companion, Lori Miller of Newark; a son, A.J. Murphy of Newark; a grandson, Emmett Murphy; several aunts, uncles, cousins and his special buddy “monkey” cat.
