Rex E. Nye, Sr.'s Obituary
NEWARK: Rex E. Nye, Sr., 93 of Newark, formerly of Hebron died Thursday morning, July 9, 2015 at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born April 6, 1922 in Huntington, Indiana to the late Loren A. and Nellie L. Nye. A graduate of Huntington High School, Mr. Nye served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked as a station manager for the Pennsylvania Railroad.
Mr. Nye is survived by his son and daughter in-law, Rex and Elizabeth Nye, Jr. of Newark.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Nye September 9, 2004; 3 brothers, and one sister.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, Virginia.
