Perchie Loggins, Jr.'s Obituary
A memorial service for Perchie Loggins, Jr., 69 of Johnstown will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Johnstown United Methodist Church with Pastor John Wallace officiating.
Perchie died Tuesday evening, September 9, 2013 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. He was born March 15, 1944 in Belfry, Kentucky to the late Perchie and Blanche (Trogdon) Loggins. He retired in 2006 from Target where he worked as a warehouse superintendent in California. He was a member of the Johnstown United Methodist Church.
Survived by his loving wife, Carolyn (Stonerock) Loggins, whom he married June 21, 1964; a son Richard Loggins of Denver, CO; a daughter, Debbie (Scott) Johnson of Harrisburg, PA; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Carl Loggins, Charles Loggins, Kenny Loggins, Dennis Loggins, Edward Loggins, and Tommy Loggins; sisters, Shirley Minkos, Mary(Paul) O’Day, Brenda (Luke) Hackney and Patsy Wimbish.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Loggins.
Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church, 159 S. Main St., Johnstown.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Hospice staff who cared for Perchie.
