Patrick J. Lollo's Obituary
Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Patrick J. Lollo, 78 of Heath will be held Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church, 57 Dorsey Mill Road East, with Rev. Father Michael J. Reis celebrant. Burial will follow with military honors in the New Lexington Cemetery.
Mr. Lollo died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born March 14, 1933 in New Lexington to the late Nick and Vincenza (Buccilli) Lollo.
Mr. Lollo was a retired title examiner. He was a charter member of St. Leonard’s Church in 1962. He was a member of American Legion Post # 85 and V.F.W. Post # 1060. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed flying radio controlled airplanes, woodworking and gardening.
He is survived by his sons, Tim (Mary) Lollo of Newark, Brad (Connie) Lollo of West Jefferson; grandchildren, Stephana, Amber, Steven; sister, Sue Smith of Somerset; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Shirkey) Lollo in 1987; a daughter, Kelly Lollo; brothers, Andrew Lollo, Anthony Lollo and Victor Lollo.
Visitation will be observed Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Newark Chapel of VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME 1850 West Main Street. Vesper services will be held Wednesday at 5:45 p.m.
