Patricia "Patti" Frances Maddox's Obituary
Patricia "Patti" Frances Maddox went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born July 13, 1944 in Danville, Kentucky to the late James Herbert and Lucille Frances Timberlake Leigh.
Graveside services for Patti, 68, of The Villages, Florida will be held at 11:00 am with David Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Hustonville Cemetery in Hustonville, Kentucky.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Maddox; children, Scott (Julie) Foster of Heath, Shelley Foster Pfan of Delaware, Ohio; grandchildren, Ryan Foster, Brooke Pfan, Brittany Pfan; brothers, James (Lore) Leigh of Germany, Charles Eugene (Alletta) Leigh of Coshocton; and sister, Ruth (David) Bush of Coshocton; several nieces, nephews, and great nephews.
She was an active member of the Fairway Christian Church in The Villages, Florida. She was a member of the choir and served as the pianist. She enjoyed square dancing and was a member and past president of the Orbiting Squares. She was a longtime member of Newark Chapter # 305 Order of Eastern Star. She was a former member of the Heath Church of Christ. She has spent many hours playing Dominos, Bunco, Canasta, Chinese checkers, and Euchre with family and friends. Her most enjoyable time was being with her children and grandchildren.
Calling hours will be observed from 6:30- 8:30 pm at the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home 1850 West Main Street on Thursday, January 3, 2013.
Memorial contributions may be made to any Hospice Service in Patti's name.
