Patricia L. Feaster's Obituary
A funeral service for Patricia L. Feaster, 85 of Newark will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 at noon in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Morris officiating. Burial will be in Welsh Hills Cemetery.
Mrs. Feaster died Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. She was born November 12, 1929 in Akron, Ohio to the late Guy F. and Virginia (Gregg) Feaster.
Pat had been employed as a secretary at the Advocate, Newark Air Force Base, DCSC and Cox United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Neal Avenue United Methodist Church and sang in the church choir. She enjoyed crocheting and playing computer games. She loved family outings and the Christmas holidays was her favorite time of year.
She is survived by three daughters, Sue (Ron) Kennedy of Newark, Sharon Parham of Newark, Karla (Duane) Searfos of Newark; grandchildren, Kelly (Arthur) Norman of Newark, Gregory (Bobbie) Dowell of Texas, Patrick Searfos of Columbus, Zackery Dowell of Heath, Jeremy (Jennafer) Searfos of Newark, Rusty (Stephanie) Parham of Heath; ten great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert (Barbara) Morris of North Canton, OH, Clarence R. (Carol) Kinney of Virginia Beach, VA; and her dog, Lulu.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Karl L. Kinney in 1958, Earl E. Ewing in 1979 and George David Feaster, Jr. in 1986.
Calling hours will be observed Saturday from 10:00 a.m. till time of the service at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street.
