Patric R. Grove's Obituary
A funeral service for Patric R. Grove, 55 of Newark will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home.
Mr. Grove died Thursday, October 6, 2011 as the result of an auto accident. He was born July 6, 1956 in Newark, Ohio to the late Raymond J. and Marjorie M. (Barrett) Grove.
Pat was employed by Boeing Company in Heath. He was a 1975 graduate of Newark High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping. Special family time was spent at the cabin. Watching NASCAR was regular week-end activity. His leisure time was spent working and riding on his trike.
He is survived by his daughters, Heather McGarvey, Susan McGarvey both of Columbus; son, Chad (Tiffany) Winegardner of Newark; brother, Thomas (Pat) Grove of Newark; grandchildren, Allison Moffo, Kyle McGarvey, Ryan McGarvey; great granddaughter, Payton McGarvey; nieces and nephews, Robin (Debbie) Evans, Terry Evans, Amy (Gary) Lewis, Jennifer Davis, Debi Decker; great nephews, Joseph, Jonathan, Nate and Trenton.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah R. (Logsdon) Grove, October 4, 2010 and a sister Beverly Sue Evans.
Calling hours will be observed Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street.
