Norma Jean Forrest's Obituary
A funeral service for Norma Jean Forrest, 81 of Newark will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Kazee officiating. Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Forrest passed away May 12, 2021 at Tuscany Gardens, Pataskala. She was born November 28, 1939 in Fairfield County, Ohio to the late Clarence A. and Freda L. (Hall) Steele.
Mrs. Forrest was a member of the Newark Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed crochet, fishing, camping and Bible study. A Christian woman, she leaves a wonderful legacy of a loving family.
Survivors include her children, Ralph D. (Wanda) Golden of Mt. Perry, OH, Melissa Golden of Newark and Debbie Spencer of Columbus; brothers, Bob, Clarence and Junior; a sister, Drema; 21 grandchildren; 30 plus great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Delbert C. Golden; a son, Charles Golden; daughters, Mendy (Golden) Bible and Lydia (Golden) Sunkle; and seven brothers and sisters.
Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 17, 2021 at Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
