Nola A. Frankenhoff's Obituary
A memorial service for Nola A. Frankenhoff, 60 of Newark will be held Sunday April 17, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Jeffrey Eno officiating.
Mrs. Frankenhoff died April 13, 2011 at her residence. She was born August 22, 1950 in Newark to the late Richard and Bertha (Everhard) Melton.
Nola was a 1968 graduate of Newark High School and a member of the National Honor Society. She had also attended classes at COTC. She was employed 25 years in the Human Resources Department at Owens-Corning Technical Center. She appreciated all types of music. She enjoyed dancing and camping.
She is survived by her husband, David E. Frankenhoff; son, Doug Frankenhoff; grandson, Ben Frankenhoff; sister, Mary Proust of Tampa, FL; brothers, John Melton of Newark, Robert Melton of Nashville, TN; mother-in-law, Doris Frankenhoff of Newark; daughters-in-law, Joyce Mokry, Marlina Medrano; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Brent Frankenhoff on July 20, 2004; brothers, James C. Melton and Richard Melton, Jr.
Calling hours will be observed from 3p.m.until services on Sunday at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street.
The family requests memorial contributions to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 Eighteenth Street, NW, Washington, DC 20006-3517. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
