Nancy R. Ross' Obituary
Funeral services for Nancy R. Ross, 75 of Heath will be Wednesday January 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Cutshall officiating. Burial will be in the Newcomerstown Cemetery.
Mrs. Ross died Friday January 7, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born September 5, 1935 in West Lafayette to the late Theodore E. and Mary E. (Russell) Strickmaker.
Mrs. Ross was a loving wife and mother to her husband and four children. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. She had a great love for horses.
She is survived by her children; James (Kathi) Ross of Heath, Pamela (Brad) Kittle of Newark, Michelle Phillips of Heath, Amy Ross of Newark; grandchildren, Brandon Ross, Brittany Ross, Jessica Kittle, Brandon Kittle, Todd Phillips; sister, Janice (Ron) Brown of Hamford, CA.; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, of 52 years, Francis W. Ross, Jr. on July 8, 2007.
Calling hours will be observed Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the VENSIL-ORR & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 West Main Street.
