Mildred L. Carle's Obituary
A funeral service for Mildred L. Carle, 92 of Newark will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Craig Mulpus officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.
Mrs. Carle died Monday November 2, 2015 at the Arlington Care Center. She was born July 15, 1923 in Perryton to Walter and Della Mae (Morgan) Warfel.
Mildred was a lifetime member of the Perryton Church of Christ. She was employed 18 years in the food service department at Licking Valley Schools. She worked several years, helping the war effort during WWII. She was a former member of the Hanover O.E.S. Mildred enjoyed fishing at Lake Erie. She was fond of playing Bingo.
spending time with her family was her most favorite times and she especially enjoyed baking cookies with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Sue (Ron) Barnes of Hanover; son, Robert D. (Linda) Carle of Roanoke, VA; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Carle of Newark; grandchildren, Melinda (Harry) Derringer, Chad (Lisa) Barnes, Ashley Carle, Casey (Jessie) Carle, Jonathan (Lindsay) Carle, Derek (Leslie) Carle, Brandon (Sarrah) Carle; great-grandchildren, Mia Derringer, Lindsey (Brandon) Zigaceek, Timi Schrumpf, Gentry Carle, Hayley Carle and Abigail Carle; great-great-grandchildren,Trentin Zigaceek. Tylee Zigaceek, Trevor Zigaceek and Camdyn Swihart.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John R. Carle, December 5, 2000; brother, W. Duane Warfel; son, Ronald “Mick” Carle; great-grandson, Dustin Swihart.
Calling hours will be observed Friday, November 6, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME 1850 West Main Street.
