Mickey N. Charles, II's Obituary
A gathering of friends and family celebrating the life of Mickey N. Charles, II, 46 of Newark will be held with a potluck lunch on Saturday September 7, 2013 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Newark Chapel of VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME 1850 West Main Street.
Mickey died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born in Newark July 31, 1967. Mickey had been employed as a cook at the Mt. Vernon Development Center. He attended the Salvation Army. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. He also enjoyed OSU sports. He had been a member of the He's and She's Bowling League at Park Lanes.
Survivors include his wife, Eleisha A. (Farmer) Charles; children, Candace B. Charles, Brian E. (Missy) Charles; granddaughter, Alivia Grace Charles all of Newark; mother, Shirley L. (Luckeydoo) (Harold “Sonny”) Hindman of Newark; father, Mickey N. (Laura) Charles, I of Granville; brothers, twin, Donald (Tonya) Charles of Newark, Cory Charles of Heath, Nelson Charles of Granville, Robert E. Hindman of Zanesville; sister, Christina (Joe) Barth of Newark; father-in-law, David Farmer of Newark; brothers-in-laws, David Farmer, Jr. of Mansfield, Kevin Farmer of Columbus; many nieces and nephews.
Mickey was preceded in death by his grandparents Claude and Ruth Charles, Franklin and Shirley Luckeydoo; uncles, Danny Charles, Ronnie Charles, Jimmy Charles, Donald Luckeydoo, Ronnie Luckeydoo; mother-in-law, Beverly Farmer.
