Michael Patrick "Pat" McCarthy, 69 of Newark died unexpectedly September 20, 2017. He was born May 22, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Mr. McCarthy was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked at Holophane Corp. He was a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his daughter, Michelle (Mitchel) White of Sebring, OH; and a brother, Daniel McCarthy. He is also survived by his former wife, Marilyn Hoover.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel N. and Sarah "Sally" (Grimes) McCarthy.
