Mary Elizabeth Moore's Obituary
A funeral service for Mary Elizabeth Moore, 76 of Newark will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Jack Debolt officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.
Mary died December 25, 2014 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born November 25, 1938 in Toboso to the late Clarence and Violet (Hoyt) Maybury. A graduate of Hartford High School, Mary had owned and operated the Croton Restaurant. She was an Honorary member of the Hartford Fair Board and a former member of the Croton Town Council. She loved her birds and her flowers. She enjoyed sitting on her porch and visiting with friends and neighbors. Above all, she loved her family.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Lee Snyder of Newark, Carl Randall Snyder, Ricky D. Snyder, both of Mt. Vernon; a daughter, Kimberly (William) Crist of Newark; grandchildren, Joseph (Lisa) Snyder of Howard, Heather Snyder of Delaware, Courtney (Josh) Pribonic of Newark; and a great-granddaughter, Isabella Elizabeth Pribonic.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack E. Moore, October 27, 2008; 4 brothers, and 1 sister.
Friends and family may call 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
