Mary L. Lightle's Obituary
A memorial service for Mary Lou Lightle, 74 of Newark will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Rev. Mr. Robert Ghiloni officiating.
Mary Lou died Tuesday January 20, 2015 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born April 12, 1940 in Alexandria to the late Charles Raymond and Dorothy Jean (Loar) Reece.
She was employed by several restaurants in Newark including Warren J’s and the American Legion. She enjoyed being outdoors and caring for flowers. She also enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by her best friend and companion of 25 years Lawrence Medina; sisters, Lisa (Steve) Williams, Claudia (Joe) Spear, Jeanine (Pat) Vaillancourt all of Maine; brothers, Eric (Cindy) Reece of Maine, Charles (Duana) Reece of Newark, Keith (Madeline) Reece of Canada; sister-in-law, Sharon Reece of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Darren North and brother, David Reece.
A visitation will be observed from 9 a.m. until services on Wednesday at the VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME 1850 West Main Street.
