Mark A. Wiseman's Obituary
A memorial service for Mark A. Wiseman 59 of Newark will be held Thursday October 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.
Mr. Wiseman died Sunday October 18, 2015 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. He was born March 1, 1956 in Newark to the late Robert and Marlene (Evanson) Wiseman.
He retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas in 2012 with over 36 years of service as the Team Leader in the Senior Supply Chain. He was a veteran of the Unites States Air Force. He received a degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University in 1986 and was a 1974 graduate of Millersport High School. He served many years on the Salvation Army Board. He enjoyed all types of movies and was an active player on computer video games.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lisa J. (Campbell) Wiseman, whom he married on November 11, 1978; son, Matt Wiseman and Jenni Mitchell; sisters, Becky (Phil) Randolph and Diane (Todd) Kirkpatrick all of Florida, Sherry Richie of Marysville, Tammy Grady of Millersport, Barbie (John) Scanlon of Pataskala; brothers, Michael (Susan Palur) Wiseman of Worthington, Rob Wiseman of Glenford; brothers and sisters in law, Scott (Caralee) Campbell of
VanWert, Steve (Pam) Campbell of Newark; father and mother in law, Jerry and Patty Campbell of Millersport; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea N. Wiseman in 2005.
Visitation will be observed Thursday October 22, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME 1850 West Main Street, Newark.
The family requests memorial contributions to the Hospice of Central Ohio or Salvation Army. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
