Maribeth Stover, 68 of Newark passed away on August 26, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Sewickley, PA on March 18, 1953 to Joseph and Frances (Begg) Kost. Maribeth is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jack Stover, whom Read Obituary
Maribeth was and her parents were great neighbors and long time friends. I am deeply saddened by her passing. She was an extraordinary person with artistic talent greater than anyone that I ever knew. She will be greatly missed. My condolences to her husband Jack and their son Daniel.
Maribeth was a valued member of our Licking County Master Gardener Volunteer team at The Dawes Arboretum for several years, and we will miss her very much. She brought her artist's skills to our planning sessions and provided lovely colored pencil renderings of our visions during bleak winter months to help us realize the next planting season. We will remember her many contributions and especially her warm personality, lovely smile, and passion for supporting pollinators - especially monarch butterflies. We will honor her in our LCMGV Learning Garden.
We are so sad to hear about this. She was an amazing person. She always has a smile and loved her 2 special men in her life. Prayers of healing.

Jack, Daniel and Emily, Maribeth will be missed by all those that knew her and even more by the ones she loved. Had some great laughs with all of you and my family will be thinking of you all during this difficult time.
Maribeth Was a great art teacher who was loved by many children and the teachers she taught with at Nashport Elementary. She was a good friend and a great lunch buddy, she will be missed by many!
Maribeth I always looked so forward to the wonderful art projects that you made with the children. They would be so excited to share them. You had a way to spark interest into their minds. You will be missed dearly.

My sincere sympathies to all of you. Maribeth was such a gifted and devoted art teacher, always coming up with the coolest ideas. My children brought home many wonderful projects and she made their time in art class lots of fun.
