Margaret E. Janks' Obituary
A funeral service for Margaret E. Janks, 96 of Heath, formerly of Hebron and Port Charlotte, FL will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Deacon Robert Ghiloni officiating. Burial will be at Newark Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Janks passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Chapel Grove Inn, Heath. She was born January 5, 1920 in Yukon, PA to the late John and Mary (Pianek) Seman. Mrs. Janks was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Caramel Catholic Church. Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Janks enjoyed time spent with family; she was known for her pies and loved to travel. She and her late husband especially enjoyed cruises.
Mrs. Janks is survived by her three children, James (Connie) Janks of Marion, OH, Thomas (Jane) Janks of Englewood, OH, Mary (Tim) Lollo of Newark; grandchildren, Michael (Terri) Janks of Blacklick, OH, Melissa Janks of Circleville, OH, Sonja (Craig) Rizzo of Syracuse, NY, Sharon (Brian) Hunter of Springfield, OH, Stephanie Lollo of Newark; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Janks, Brandi Janks, Ryan Janks, Sammi Rizzo, Catherine Rizzo, Joseph Szablewski, Susan Szablewski; great-great granddaughter, Riley Reneé Janks; a brother, Al (Steffie) Seaman; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Janks was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Janks; whom she married May 3, 1941 and who died June 21, 2015; 5 sisters; and 4 brothers.
Friends and family may call 2 to 4 p.m and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2016 at VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark. A Christian Wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
