Margaret "Peggy" Houston's Obituary
NEWARK: Margaret L. “Peggy” Houston, 67 of Newark, formerly of Nashport passed away January 21, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
She was born September 15, 1946 in Zanesville to the late Frank P. “Brad” Lunn and Fanny Virginia Harper Lunn. She was a member of the Nashport-Irville United Methodist Church. She also participated in T.O.P.S. Peggy enjoyed quilting, knitting and baking. She took great joy in her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Lawrence E. Houston; a son, Brad (Kim) Houston of Anchorage, AK; a daughter, Stacey (Troy) Butler of Granville; grandchildren, Emma, Brennan, and Grace Butler, and Vincent Houston; sisters, Janet (Joe) Taylor of Gratiot, Karen Ferry, Judi (Pete) Denny, and Mollye Kennedy all of Zanesville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Lunn; and a sister, Shirley Christman.
Friends and family may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2014 at VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME – NEWARK CHAPEL, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Gill officiating.
