Marcia J. McCoy's Obituary
A funeral service for Marcia J. McCoy, 67 of Newark will be held Thursday June 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Joseph Hall officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Newark Memorial Gardens.
Marcia died Tuesday June 13, 2017 at her residence. She was born August 29, 1949 in Long Beach California to mark and Patricia (Mugleston) Moore.
She was currently employed as an administrative secretary with Boeing. She was formerly the secretary to the colonel and employed with AFMETCAL for a 25 plus year career at the Newark Air Force Base. She was a member of the Newark Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
She survived by her children, Andrew L. McCoy of Newark, Dallas McCoy of Lima, Toby (Debbie) McCoy of Westerville, Patty J. (Daniel) McCoy-Malone of Heath; grandchildren, Virginia McCoy of Oshkosh, WI, William McCoy of Madison, WI, Shayne Angus, Kailee Finklea, Janee Harris, Andreya McCoy, Adryn McCoy, Treyton McCoy all of Heath, Hannah McCoy, Aubrey McCoy of Bladensburg; brothers, Tim (Linda) Moore of Whittier, CA, Patrick (Margo) Moore of Las Vegas, NV, Bill Beeler of Buena Park, CA; sisters, Gerri (Jason) Ramirez of Henderson, NV, Peggy Pinney of Leesburg, FL, her companion, Jerry Osborne of Heath; close friend, Kristina Hummel of Newark; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. “Bill” McCoy, February 18, 2005 and brother, Michael Moore.
Calling hours will be observed Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 1850 West Main St.
